Copper Jewels

This is OPI DS Jewel with an accent of Glitter Gal Copper 3D/Holo.  I ordered a few Glitter Gal polishes when they were really popular and I love them.  I rarely use them though, since the bottle is so small and they were so expensive!  I love their strong linear holo pattern though, I would stare at it whenever I could!

Flying Dragon

Here I am wearing China Glaze Flying Dragon, with top coat.  It is so important to note that I've used my Seche Vite, because the color loses almost all of it's bright vibrancy as soon as you put on that top layer.  I love the neon color of FD, but I wish it were shinier!  The matte finish just doesn't do it for me.  The color is still pretty though, although much deeper and less POW!

MEEP!

Also from the Muppet collection I have Meep-meep-meep.  This color isn't really my style, but it was pretty none the less.  Beaker is one of my favourite Muppets, so how could I deny his polish on my nails?  It applied easily and looked nice on.  If I have to wear a pinky-red like this that is all I ask of it.

The Fresh Frog has Gone Gonzo

Another collection I own in it's entirety is OPI's Muppet collection.  I am a huge fan of anything Muppets, and when this came out I had to have all of it.  On my nails I have three coats of Fresh Frog of Bel Air and my accents are Gone Gonzo!  They are sparse, but I love them all the same.
From this point forward I will definitely put a coordinating color under them, but I had to see what these glitters looked like on their own.  So pretty!

Take me to the Carribean.

This polish was a long time lemming for me and it sure didn't disappoint!  Here is China Glaze Carribean Blue.  It applied beautifully and was a fantastic color on my skin tone.  Overall it is definitely one of my top blues, if not one of my top polishes!

Owl's Night

For this manicure I used L’oreal Paris Owl’s Night.  On my accent nails I did one coat of Essie Matte about You and then used a clear polish to create shiny dots.  I really love this technique, but it definitely took a few tries to get it down.
At first I tried it with a different polish and the contrast wasn't enough for the dots to show.  Once I found the right polish I was happily surprised.
Here you can really see the texture contrast.  So cool!
I also tried to do matte dots on a shiny manicure, but that didn't work as well.  I'll just have to stick to this one for now!

Baby-baby-baby OOH!

Funky Fingers Baby-baby-baby... What can I say?  It's a gorgeous holo glitter, but I hate that it has a connotation to /that singer/.
But look at that amazing shimmer!  Even my mom commented on how pretty the color is!

BFFs Heather, Piper and Stephanie

Another post with only one picture!  This is Zoya Stephanie, Piper, and Heather in a pretty crazy pattern over my nails.  I got these colors during a Zoya sale and only chose them because two are the names of my best friend and I.  Luckily, Heather was a light purple (reminiscent of heather flowers), so it was an acceptable color for my name!  This manicure was a little too silly for me and it didn't last long, but it worked for it's purpose of testing out my new colors.

I'm Independant!

I sadly only have one picture of this manicure.  I am forever on the search for the PERFECT lilac foil polish.  This one is Nicole by OPI Miss Independant.  I like it, it's nice, but it isn't the forever searched for polish.  I will continue to hunt, and one day I will update you on the reason for this quest!

Greenwich Village Tart

When I first got Butter London Tart with a Heart I had to put it on right away.  I decided to layer it over another polish I got that day OPI Green-wich Village.  I found GV in the clearance section at my Ulta for about five bucks.  I did accent nails of my trusty Wet n Wild Black so I could see TwaH on its own (thumb) and over black (ring).
I switched the placement around for my right hand, and mattified the thumb, just for kicks.
For some reason this picture makes me incredibly happy.  It looks almost rock n roll, but has my shiney watch to balance it out.  For some reason I really like that.

I got a Peridot for my Birthday!

Well, my birthday is tomorrow.  Last year my best friend Steph got me Chanel Peridot!  This is one coat of Peridot over Wet n Wild Black.
I could not be more in love with this color.  I know a bunch of dupes have come out recently, but there is something special about the original.  Plus, Chanel is so luxurious it makes me feel incredibly fancy just to own a bottle!

Santa likes Cinnamon Apples and Sugar Plums

One of my favourite holiday manicures was definitely OPI Big Apple Red, with accent's of Color Club Santa’s Cinnamon and a top coat of Color Club Sugar Plum-Yum.
I was able to find all of the scented holiday colors by Color Club this past Christmas, except for SPY.  I ended up calling a Sally's about an hour away and asking them to hold it for me.  My awesome mommy drove over there when she got off work and picked it up for me.
I have to say I am glad we took the time to hunt it down.  SPY is one of the most gorgeous glitters I own.  And it smells divine.
I couldn't stop taking pictures of this, it was just beautiful.
And the accent nail up close is pretty amazing too.  All sparkles!
...and my silly attempt at holding three bottles of polish at one time.  Not too bad, I suppose.
